POSITION OVERVIEW
The Bartender plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience of our patrons.
It is essential for the Bartender to engage with guests in a warm and genuine manner, striving to provide an exceptional dining experience.
The Bartender also supports the service team by ensuring efficient and friendly service.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To excel in this role, individuals must be able to perform the following essential duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Process payments for beverages served.
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol service.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Mitigate risks associated with excessive alcohol consumption by encouraging responsible drinking and arranging transportation for guests when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Receive and fulfill beverage orders from waitstaff or directly from guests.
- Serve a variety of alcoholic beverages, including wine and beer.
- Ensure cleanliness of the bar area and surrounding tables.
- Prepare cocktails and mixed drinks according to established recipes.
- Offer light snacks or food items to guests at the bar.
- Manage guest behavior by addressing disruptive conduct appropriately.
- Prepare garnishes for drinks by slicing and pitting fruits.
- Organize and display bottles and glassware attractively.
- Oversee the operations of the bar area.
- Verify guest identification prior to serving alcohol.
