Key Responsibilities:
As a Patient Registration Representative, you will:
1. Conduct pre-registration verification and pre-admission processes.
2. Provide limited financial counseling to patients and families.
3. Schedule appointments and follow up as necessary.
4. Collect co-payments efficiently.
5. Collaborate with bed placement coordinators to ensure optimal patient flow.
6. Enter orders and verify account information.
7. Handle urgent registrations with professionalism.
8. Adapt to various roles and locations as needed to meet patient needs, especially during emergencies or adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework in Business Administration, Allied Health, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare or office setting is desirable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
- Familiarity with pre-registration, registration processes, insurance verification, medical terminology, and ICD-10 coding is advantageous.

Licenses and Certifications:
Candidates may be required to hold relevant certifications or registries as applicable.
