Operations Manager Job Description

GardaWorld is a leading provider of cash management solutions, and we're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various functions and activities to meet specific goals of the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site operations to ensure high-quality service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Participate in site budget and goal planning to drive business growth.
  • Monitor quality reports, productivity measurements, and expense analyses to optimize site performance.
  • Recruit, train, and develop employees to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to gather feedback and address departmental concerns.
  • Develop cross-training matrices to ensure adequate backup for all positions.
  • Conduct weekly audits to ensure high-quality standards are achieved.
  • Review departmental reports to confirm daily work is processed accurately and within contractual obligations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of approved payroll, incentives, worker's compensation, and accident reports.
  • Maintain proficiency in the Money Manager System and coin room tasks and procedures.
  • Report serious operational problems to senior management and communicate with the Client Services group to ensure customer service is not compromised.
  • Analyze system problems and collaborate with ATSIIS Support to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of operations management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of armored operations, currency processing, and bank operations preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or comparable combination of education and work experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License with no air-brake restrictions (applicable to branches with vehicles over 26,001 lbs.) and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adjust to all levels of personnel.
  • Multi-tasked oriented, organized, and able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicable work rules/labor agreement, Company employee and safety handbooks, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, and other required documents.
