Position Overview

The Bradley Fighting Vehicle plays a crucial role in military operations, providing support to infantry and cavalry units. As a key member of the Army National Guard, the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer ensures that this vital asset remains operational and effective in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical failures.
  • Conducting maintenance and direct support tasks on suspension and steering systems.
  • Performing upkeep on fire suppression and extinguisher systems.
  • Maintaining gas particulate systems, vehicular armament, and fire control systems.

Skills Development
During your training, you will acquire valuable skills, including:
  • Engine repair and tuning techniques.
  • Methods for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Repairing and replacing body panels, fenders, power packs, and radiators.

Essential Qualities
