Through comprehensive training, you will acquire the expertise necessary for a rewarding civilian career in the communications and electronics sector. Additional study and two years of electronics experience may lead to certification as an Associate Certified Electronics Technician.

Compensation and Benefits

In the Army National Guard, you will earn while you learn. The training program includes:
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training to develop foundational Soldiering skills.
  • 18 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) that combines hands-on and classroom instruction.
