Child Development Specialist

We provide exceptional services to support individuals and families throughout their lives, including mental health, senior care, disability services, adoption, and youth development.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $115,000 and $130,000 per annum, depending on experience. As an exempt full-time employee with benefits, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:
- A 403(b) retirement match plus additional employer contribution (subject to eligibility)
- Cafeteria plan with medical, dental, vision, FSA, Employer-paid life, and disability insurance
- 16 holidays annually (10 federal and up to 6 Jewish holidays)
- 3 weeks of vacation and 2 weeks of sick leave annually
This challenging role offers the opportunity to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to children, adolescents, and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing developmental assessments, psychological testing, and problem-focused psychotherapy for low to moderate mental health issues
- Collaborating with educational staff to implement IEP and/or other intervention/treatment plans in educational settings
- Maintaining accurate and timely assessment, treatment, and consultation records
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A doctoral degree in clinical psychology (PsyD or PhD)
- Licensure or license-eligibility in the state of California
- Expertise in providing developmental assessments, psychological testing, and problem-focused psychotherapy for children and adolescents
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and you will have the flexibility to work some hours from home. A valid California driver's license and car are required for use in work-related activities.
