Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Program Manager to lead our large-scale battery projects. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with engineering and laboratory teams to execute complex projects, manage risks and issues, and provide overall leadership and support to project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and laboratory teams to plan and execute large-scale battery projects
  • Manage risks and issues, and take corrective measurements to ensure project success
  • Provide overall leadership and support to one or more project teams
  • Partner with purchasing to develop POs and manage suppliers and vendor relationships
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder communication
  • Proactively engage with Sales to establish future projects/programs
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Lab to plan the overall program and monitor progress
  • Manage the program's budget and financial performance
  • Coordinate projects and their interdependencies
  • Manage and utilize resources across projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business required; advanced degree preferred or relevant role experience
  • PMP and/or Agile certifications preferred
  • Bilingual in Korean and English required
  • Over ten years of project management experience running large-scale, distributed/complex projects with multiple parallel threads of work
  • Large-scale battery module and pack testing or development experience preferred
  • Experience developing, evaluating and submitting business cases for major capital investments
  • Experience with cross-geographical project coordination and management
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, technical and business acumen and industry knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally
  • Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision
  • Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change
  • Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and financial skills
  • Ability to innovate under new and/or changing conditions
