Job Summary:

At Barnes Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain inspection reports to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.
Maintain calibration of quality control equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
Perform inspections across all stages of production to identify any quality control issues.
Prepare and maintain test data for review, evaluating data and drafting reports to note any relevant deviations from existing standards.
Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.
Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in CMM programming, preferably with Zeiss Calypso or PCDmis or Werth.
AA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of mold making and inspection experience.
