Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

Job Summary:

nLIGHT DEFENSE Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our team. As a critical member of the Finance team, you will work closely with executive management and partner with various departments to support growth and profitability in a complex manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide financial guidance and support to senior management in making informed business decisions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Coordinate and prepare rolling forecasts and budgets to ensure accurate financial planning and execution.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with FAR and CAS requirements, and support external audit requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a Corporate Finance or Program Control organization supporting Government Programs, ideally in a dual-segment manufacturing company.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of FAR and CAS requirements, power user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with EVMS, forecasting, and ERP systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong work ethic, highly organized, self-motivated, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
