Finance Director

Job Summary:

As a key member of the nLIGHT Finance team, the Finance Manager for Defense will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and profitability in a complex manufacturing environment. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in corporate finance, program control, and government contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes to support business growth and profitability
Collaborate with executive management and cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and strategy
Provide financial reporting and analysis to support contract proposals, negotiations, and performance
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making
Ensure compliance with FAR and CAS requirements and support external audit requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate finance, program control, or related field
Strong understanding of FAR and CAS requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
