About the Role

Genmab is seeking a seasoned leader to head our Enabling Functions Data Science team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for leveraging data science methodologies to streamline and enhance the efficiency of HR, Finance, and Legal operations.
  • Lead a team of data scientists, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and cross-functional teams to align data science initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of advanced analytical models and algorithms to analyze complex operational data, ensuring outcomes are of high quality and actionable.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science, integrating cutting-edge technologies and techniques into our operational processes.
  • Communicate complex data science concepts and project outcomes to a variety of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within industries that include HR, Finance, and Legal operations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Python, R, and data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc. LLM experience is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of business processes in HR, Finance, and Legal departments.
  • Proven track record of applying data science methodologies to enhance business operations, risk management, and decision-making processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Experience in operational optimization and efficiency improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and practices related to HR, Finance, and Legal operations is a plus.
  • Publications in data science or operational optimization conferences/journals is a plus.
