Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare's 3 West unit. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including COPD, diabetes, pneumonia, and renal failure.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
