Job Summary

Morrie's Auto Group is a leading auto retailer in the Midwest, committed to growing and training career-oriented employees into management roles. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automotive Operations Manager to lead our store operations and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage total store operations, including associate development, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify process improvements that add value to customer and employee experience.
  • Interview, hire, train, and promote employees to support store operations and company growth.
  • Ensure positive associate engagement and employee development through timely and effective feedback.
  • Lead the senior management team in setting strategy for the store and provide vision, direction, and motivation to the team.
  • Champion and implement company and store initiatives for consistent execution and continuous improvement.
  • Manage daily store operations by interpreting, communicating, and executing policies and procedures.
  • Set a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profit.
  • Drive the business through high-level involvement in day-to-day operations.
  • Manage the negotiation process with Sales Consultants to ensure customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • Partner with the General Manager and/or General Sales Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory.
  • Analyze the business to determine shortfalls and develop action plans to improve performance.

Requirements

  • College degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of automotive management experience.
  • Proficient in operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
