Senior HR Business Strategist

Position Overview
- The Senior HR Business Strategist collaborates with designated business leaders and teams, executing initiatives that foster leadership and talent growth while ensuring HR strategies are aligned to enhance organizational performance.
- Assess, prioritize, and relay business requirements to Talent Management, Centers of Expertise (CoEs), and HR Operations.
- Serve as an employee advocate, facilitating programs aimed at boosting employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner for assigned business units.
- Provide consultancy to management on various Human Resource matters.
- Engage proactively with the HR team and business leaders to create and implement cohesive solutions.
- Build partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services that align with the organization’s business goals.
On an individual level, collaborate with managers and employees to navigate career paths within the organization by discussing both short-term and long-term career aspirations and identifying the necessary competencies to achieve targeted career objectives.
On an organizational level, develop metrics and analytics to provide insights into the status of talent pipelines, implement strategies for proactive talent management, and evaluate individual and organizational outcomes.
Deliver analytics to inform the CHRO and VP of Talent Management about critical insights regarding employee turnover, workplace issues requiring attention, and strategies to enhance employee retention. Support the formulation and execution of retention initiatives.
Contribute to the development and implementation of an Engagement Strategy, including employee surveys and regular pulse checks, working closely with HR Business Partners to ensure actionable plans are developed and followed up on to improve engagement and retention, thereby driving business success.
Collaborate with the Diversity & Inclusion team to implement action plans focused on attracting, retaining, and promoting underrepresented talent while fostering an inclusive culture.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field; or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- SPHR/PHR, SHRM certifications are highly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices, with a robust process for staying updated on ongoing changes.
- Exemplary integrity and honesty; ability to maintain confidentiality and neutrality in complex situations.
- Strong influencing capabilities with the ability to inspire employees and collaborate across diverse geographies and cultures.
- Proficient in interpreting data, making informed recommendations, and taking action based on that data.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills suitable for various audience sizes.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of HR Generalist experience demonstrating strong performance across all key HR domains.
- Proven track record as an HR Business Partner, showcasing the ability to build effective relationships within the business.
- Demonstrated project management expertise.
