Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our outpatient dialysis center.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Conduct routine patient observations, measure and record vital signs, and perform hemodialysis machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet, with comfort working around blood and needles
- Desire to enter the healthcare field and make a positive impact on patients' lives
