Product Manager at WoundZoom, Inc.

The primary responsibility of the Product Manager is to ensure the success of the product line(s) by serving as the principal advocate to enhance the profitability of the WoundZoom product offerings. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with diverse teams and steer the strategic direction, product launches, and tactical execution to align with the company's goals in a fast-paced environment. The focus will be on executing comprehensive strategies related to product positioning, pricing, promotions, channel development, demand generation, and lifecycle management. The Product Manager is expected to become a subject matter expert in their market area, grasping customer needs, both present and future, while analyzing competitor offerings. Additionally, they are anticipated to represent the business segments as a trusted source of knowledge in front of clients and company leadership. At WoundZoom, Inc., the Product Manager's role is deeply connected to a mission of making a meaningful impact on wound care professionals and patients through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employ advanced marketing techniques to formulate plans, customer segmentation, targeting, positioning, branding, and asset development to drive product portfolio growth.
  • Examine market data, competition, and trends to pinpoint target demographics and comprehend customer requirements.
  • Facilitate the launch of new products that align with market demands, emphasizing clear product positioning and value propositions.
  • Maintain the business rationale for new product introductions and commercial initiatives.
  • Design and implement promotional strategies including communication tactics, sales channels, and support materials.
  • Evaluate digital marketing metrics for performance enhancements and collaborate with external agency partners for content creation.
  • Participate in customer insight initiatives to remain ahead of market expectations and develop educational resources for the sales team.
  • Engage with professional organizations, advocacy groups, and key opinion leaders for thought leadership and awareness.
  • Oversee tradeshow and educational conference planning, content creation, and execution.
  • Assess strategy effectiveness using KPIs and maintain a comprehensive level of product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Product Manager or in a higher role.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Medical Devices or Healthcare Technologies is preferred.
  • Proven ability to execute impactful marketing campaigns within budget and timelines.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and influencing capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Analytics, and web metrics.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Physical Requirements

  • The position involves sitting 70% of the time and standing/walking 30%.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment weighing 10-20 pounds.
