Role Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Liability Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess multi-state experience in Bodily Injury and Uninsured Motorist claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee, investigate, and resolve auto, premises, and commercial liability claims efficiently.
  • Assess coverage, liability, and damages while settling claims within established authority limits.
  • Analyze policy details and gathered information to determine optimal actions.
  • Gather necessary documentation (contracts, agreements, releases, statements) to support claim investigations.
  • Manage complex auto litigation, maintain cost controls, and collaborate with outside counsel to develop litigation strategies.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate loss reserves and expense budgets.
  • Implement a calendar system to ensure timely attention to each assigned claim.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements while adhering to company policies.
  • Handle assigned claims independently while following company guidelines.
  • Maintain necessary adjuster licenses in all required states.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, with two to four years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in database, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm in response to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated project planning and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
