About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Administrator to join our team at Leggett & Platt Aerospace - Western Pneumatic Tube Co. in Kirkland, WA. As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, escalating delivery and manufacturing issues, and providing administrative sales support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer inquiries and act as the voice of the customer within the Kirkland, WA facility and the broader sales and operations teams.
  • Point of escalation for customer delivery and manufacturing issues, engaging appropriate departments, making recommendations on appropriate response, and communicating resolution to customers.
  • Provide ongoing updates to customers until all issues are resolved.
  • Administrative sales support, including quote generation, order submission, and monitoring of open orders to provide updates to clients throughout the production cycle.
  • Identify activities to continually improve the process of providing innovative and efficient customer care.
  • Support the group's Business Development team as the primary customer point of contact.
  • Interact daily with onsite production leadership and purchasing to alert them to any customer changes, feedback, or questions.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in sales or customer support for a manufacturing company is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or significant experience in a similar role is required.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with diverse audiences ranging from internal teams and customers.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Work well in a team and promote a positive working relationship with co-workers and customers.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with exotic metal alloy sales or aerospace component experience is a plus.
