Prysmian Group is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our Telecom Solutions Business Unit in the ND/SD/MN/IA region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and achieving annual sales objectives of $50M.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end-user operators, distributors, contractors, and engineering firms.
- Manage external sales rep agents in various states and lead business unit leadership for major key accounts.
- Travel extensively (over 40% of the time) to meet with customers, installers, and splicers.
- Collaborate with product managers and field service managers to provide technical support and sales guidance.
- Proven experience in outside plant fiber cable sales or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Residency in the ND/SD/MN/IA territory.
- Prior experience in fiber splicing, OSP cable installations, or OSP engineering.
- Knowledge of fiber network architecture and PON network design.
- Experience working with a telecom distributor.
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
