Position Overview:
As a Senior Vice President, you will benefit from premier training, exceptional benefits, robust career advancement opportunities, competitive compensation, and relocation support when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct valuation and appraisal projects (financial reporting, purchase accounting, annual assessments, lending, etc.) for corporate clients, REITs, pension funds, and financial institutions.
- Oversee the daily operations of real estate personnel (Senior Associates and Analysts), including defining project scopes, preparing and reviewing outputs, endorsing appraisal reports, and providing ongoing feedback and performance evaluations.
- Engage with clients to nurture and develop both new and existing relationships.
- Demonstrate proficiency in discounted cash flow analysis (using Argus and MS Excel), Sales Comparison Approach, Cost Approach, and Highest & Best Use methodologies.
- Independently collect relevant data through direct client engagement, including interviews with Brokers and Property Managers.
- Analyze industry surveys, benchmarks, and economic and demographic trends.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of analytical findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management (with a focus on Finance or Real Estate), or an MBA from an accredited institution.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Real Estate Valuation or Consulting.
- Progressing towards or holding an MAI designation is preferred.
- Experience at a Big 4 or large national firm at the managerial level or above in real estate valuation and consulting is advantageous.
- Exhibit strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Quickly adapt to new tasks and demonstrate leadership capabilities with high personal integrity.
- Effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and navigate rapidly changing assignments within a team setting.
- Show a commitment to achieving outstanding results.
- Possess excellent communication skills that represent diverse communities.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams.
