  • Providing courteous and respectful service to patients, visitors, staff, and physicians
  • Coordinating patient registration, scheduling, and billing information
  • Resolving routine patient problems and complaints in a timely manner
  • Scheduling surgical and non-surgical procedures, tests, and appointments

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Secretarial-related courses or experience
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Ability to type 40-80 wpm
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 6 months of related experience in a healthcare setting
