Key Responsibilities- Perform basic maintenance tasks on all systems onboard the vessels, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Assist technicians with maintenance tasks and provide support to the Port Engineer in ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and the chain of command to ensure seamless vessel operations.
- Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge in marine diesel engine maintenance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card) or ability to obtain and maintain.
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification or ability to obtain and maintain.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with passengers, guests, and fellow employees.
