Job Overview

California Montessori Project is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic organization that is dedicated to providing a high-quality education to students in the greater Sacramento area.

The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the Central Administrative Team, which includes the Governing Board, Directors, Principals, and Deans. This role requires a strong leader who can provide stability and focused guidance to the organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the educational community, with a minimum of five years of teaching experience, five years of administrative experience, and five years of charter school leadership experience. A valid Administrative Services Credential and a Master's or Doctoral Degree are also required.

The Executive Director will be responsible for ensuring the operational soundness of the organization, including regulatory and legal compliance, fiscal solvency, and the provision of safe and healthy facilities. They will also be responsible for leading organizational change initiatives and developing strategies to drive seamless adoption of new processes, technologies, and cultural shifts.
