Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Hawaii Pacific Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare professionals, providing warm and considerate assistance
- Interview, register, and admit patients, updating and creating medical records as needed
- Process professional and technical fees generated by department providers in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform cash handling and collection duties
- Work effectively under minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of clerical support experience in a healthcare setting or related field
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system a plus
