Fire Alarm Sales Representative Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Sales Representative to join our team at Summit Fire Protection. As a Fire Alarm Sales Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring sales leads, providing outside and inside sales, and selling our fire protection services to customers across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire sales leads for new work, including installations for fire alarm and detection, low voltage, clean agents, security, access control, nurse call, CCTV, and other lines of services.
  • Provide outside sales and inside sales to customers.
  • Solicit all building and construction types, including new construction, renovations, additions, retrofits, and similar.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact/bid invite to acquisition of contract/notice to proceed.
  • Generate new relationships and foster existing relationships among customers for continued sales.
  • Generate new proposals, follow-up on active proposals, and close sales on active proposals.
  • Communicate status of active proposals to management.
  • Attend meetings, including internal meetings and external meetings with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of fire alarm/low voltage sales experience, preferred.
  • 3+ years of B2B experience, required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build productive interactions and relationships.
  • High level of integrity and self-motivation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel in area, required, may involve travel outside of local area.
