The Insurance Verification Specialist plays a crucial role in confirming insurance coverage for appointments at Hirebridge Organic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough validation of insurance details using advanced systems, ensuring accuracy two days prior to patient appointments.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary patient information.
- Perform eligibility checks across various insurance platforms.
- Analyze and resolve claims that have been denied due to eligibility discrepancies, ensuring timely corrections.
- Manage adjustments for denied claims based on eligibility issues.
- Work on assigned eligibility claims within designated queues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all interactions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Complete additional tasks as required.
Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Digital literacy is a must.
Preferred Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience in medical insurance or patient registration is advantageous.
