Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team in Portage, IN. This role will primarily be responsible for handling repairs on new and refurbished trailers.

Shift: Full-Time, 4X10's, Monday - Thursday, 2:30PM-1:00AM, OFF Friday-Sunday

Pay: $24.00-$26.00/HR based on experience/qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • The Trailer Technician is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of company fleet assets within the Company.
  • As a Trailer Technician, you will assist with diagnosing and detailed inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software.
  • You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system.
  • You will install trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics as well as perform basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components.
  • Other duties as assigned.
