We are collaborating with a prominent Oil and Gas corporation to identify a qualified Midstream Accountant. Below is a detailed overview of the position.

Essential Qualifications for the Midstream Accountant:

#1. A minimum of 10 years of specialized accounting experience in midstream operations, particularly in gas processing facilities.

#2. Proficiency in either TIPS or W Energy (Waterfield) software is essential, with a preference for W Energy experience.

#3. Comprehensive knowledge of midstream allocation and settlement methodologies.

#4. Familiarity with the application of producer gathering and processing contract stipulations and their implications on physical flow.

#5. Experience in conducting variance analysis at the margin level, including revenues, product costs, imbalances, and ASC 606 compliance.

#6. Proven track record in allocations and producer settlements.

Qualifications Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including external partners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities effectively.
  • Solid grounding in midstream accounting practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members, management, external auditors, and industry producers.
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in an accounting capacity.

Additional Key Requirements:

  • Travel Expectations: 0-10%.
  • This role operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office work on designated weekdays and remote work on others.
  • No sponsorships or visa holders will be considered.
