About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Gas System Design and Operations Expert to join our team in Brunswick, ME. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and designing natural gas distribution facilities, as well as providing technical expertise and support to internal departments and external agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and design natural gas distribution facilities in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to all internal departments and outside agencies.
  • Secure necessary permits, easements, and right-of-ways.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in piping design, metering, and regulating principles.
  • Knowledge of corrosion control techniques, gas system construction practices, underground pipe locating, map reading, and blueprint reading.

The estimated salary for this position is $86,119 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
