At Tillotek Staffing Solutions, we are searching for an exceptional Senior Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring water supply networks, waste and drainage systems are installed, repaired and maintained to meet building codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures for gas, water and sanitary lines.
  • Perform plumbing and general building maintenance services.
  • Perform backflow testing for irrigation systems.
  • Making suggestions to customers on additional plumbing and maintenance needs.
  • Maintain required licenses and comply with state and local statutes and ordinances.
  • Supervise Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers and meet with regulatory board members and licensing authorities.
  • Locate and mark pipes and connection positions.
  • Use hand and power tools to cut openings in walls and floors.
  • Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings and pipes.
  • Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent and caulks.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washers, mending burst pipes and opening clogged drains.
  • Perform welding and regular maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Inspect previously installed plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs.
  • Answer calls for plumbing issues from general contractors.

  • State of Maine mandated license - Master Plumber License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship and journeyman or formal plumbing training.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour certification.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of plumbing tools and techniques.
