Job Summary

The Associate Director, Financial Planning and Analysis position is a key member of the finance team, responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to support business objectives. This role will collaborate with business partners to develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and reporting processes to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business partners to understand their financial needs and provide strategic guidance.
  • Lead the annual financial planning and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with business partners to monitor revenue and expense performance indicators.
  • Prepare and present monthly reporting packages to management, highlighting key financial trends and variances.
  • Collaborate with the Director of FP&A to streamline and improve reporting processes, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the alliance, driving the forecasting process and providing financial guidance to ensure compliance with alliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA in Finance preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting and/or Financial Planning and Analysis-related work, and/or pharmaceutical/R&D experience required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Travel

Ability to travel up to 10% for accounting conferences/trainings, etc.
