Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Field Case Manager to join our team. As a Field Case Manager, you will play a critical role in creating and implementing treatment plans that return injured workers to optimal levels of work and functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in case management standards of practice and apply advanced knowledge of injury types, medications, comorbidities, treatment options, and job duties to advise on treatment plans.
  • Interview injured workers to assess overall recovery, including whether injuries or conditions are occupational or non-occupational.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians and utilize available resources to create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
  • Work with employers and physicians to modify job duties where practical to facilitate early return to work.
  • Evaluate and modify case goals based on injured workers' improvement and treatment effectiveness.
  • Independently manage workload, including prioritizing cases and deciding how best to manage cases effectively.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • 2+ years of clinical practice experience preferred, with workers' compensation-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to advocate recommendations effectively with physicians, employers, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and possess basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Email.
  • Proficient grammar, sentence structure, and written communication skills.
