Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Child and Family Case Manager to join our Community Services Team at Safe Harbor. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive case management services to children and families affected by domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, strengths, and risks.
  • Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support to children and families.
  • Connect clients with relevant community resources, including housing, legal assistance, healthcare, and educational services.
  • Advocate for clients with service providers to ensure access to necessary resources and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress towards their goals, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation in compliance with agency policies and confidentiality requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports on client progress, outcomes, and service utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with all funding and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field or associate's degree in human services or related field with minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to relate to individuals in an empathetic, non-judgmental, and supportive manner.
  • Fluent written and verbal bilingual (English and Spanish) linguistic skills, preferred but not required.
  • Possess insight and self-awareness to be confident in the role, with knowledge of personal capabilities and limitations.
  • Possess ability to manage confidential materials in an appropriate manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
