Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Business Class Leader to lead and grow our existing and strong Wastewater Treatment and Effluent Management group for Northern California. This role will support other projects in the area and work with the Water Business Group Market Sector Leads and Client Development Leads on the development and implementation of technical and business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver projects and monitor project quality
- Mentor staff and pursue and secure opportunities with new and existing clients
- Grow the business portfolio and provide leadership through mentoring, directing, and delegating to staff
- Interface with regional and national technology leaders to advance local capabilities and support national pursuits and project delivery efforts related to their expertise
- Engage in industry groups and forums and take leadership roles in such organizations
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in related field
- Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience
- Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
- Works cooperatively with other business class directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts
- Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
- Master's degree
- Strong technical background and experience in wastewater planning and design
- Active engagement in industry organizations both locally and nationally to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills that are necessary to grow and lead a business group
