Stantec is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Wastewater Regional Sector Leader to join our Pacific Region water business line. As a key member of our water leadership team, you will be responsible for advancing our growing Wastewater Practice in California and Hawai'i.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development: Grow Stantec's multi-disciplinary wastewater business in the Pacific Region and beyond, with the support of the North America Leader and Pacific Water sales team.
- Client Relationships: Manage key client relationships and target key clients and pursuits, including large wastewater programs with a focus on California and Hawai'i.
- Market Trends: Identify important industry trends and develop strategies at the regional level to keep Stantec at the forefront of the market.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support the business in decision making, including overall strategic direction, goal setting, identifying clients, market challenges and opportunities.
- Project Management: Be responsive to client needs, apply knowledge of California infrastructure planning, design, and construction to principles and practices for wastewater engineering, and track performance of projects.
- Education: Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in science, planning, engineering or related field. Master's Degree in related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum twenty (20) years' experience in the field of wastewater and biosolids treatment engineering, including supervisory, management and fiscal responsibilities.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in diverse team environments with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
