Job Title: Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Engineer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a Wastewater Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing wastewater treatment systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in wastewater engineering, with experience in planning, designing, and implementing wastewater treatment systems. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement wastewater treatment systems that meet the needs of our clients
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex wastewater treatment problems
  • Work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Stay up-to-date with current and future regulations and trends in wastewater treatment, reclamation, and reuse technologies in California
  • Stay up-to-date with current and future trends in biosolids processing, management, and waste-to-energy recovery
  • Coordinate the work of drafters and technicians
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Years of experience in wastewater engineering planning and design
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in California or the ability to obtain within one year
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning and design of wastewater infrastructure projects with responsibility for budget, schedule, and quality standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering
  • California PE License
  • Design, construction, and O&M phase experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Project, and BioWin software tools
