Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Systems Specialist to join our team at The Building People. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics and communications systems, with a focus on security and surveillance.

The Electronics Systems Specialist will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex electronics systems, including communications networks, surveillance systems, and security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics principles and practices, as well as experience with a variety of test equipment and tools.

The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also essential, as the Electronics Systems Specialist will work closely with other technical staff and management to ensure the successful implementation of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and maintain complex electronics systems, including communications networks, surveillance systems, and security systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Work closely with other technical staff and management to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in electronics and communications systems, with a focus on security and surveillance.
  • Strong understanding of electronics principles and practices.
  • Experience with a variety of test equipment and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with secure network systems and electronic physical security systems.
  • Knowledge of radio communications systems and video security systems.
  • Experience with design and implementation of complex electronics systems.
