Job Summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Payroll and Garnishment Coordinator.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing payroll accounting and garnishment functions, including accurate and timely preparation of account reconciliations, payroll accruals, forecast guidance, and management reports.

You will also be expected to develop and analyze reports that easily and accurately depict current and projected costs, reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts, correct coding of all payroll-related G/L entries, and prepare audit schedules for quarterly and annual audits.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll garnishment and payroll specialists and the functions they support.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures established for accounting and payroll functions.
  • Function as a liaison between payroll, business management, HR, and IT departments to increase efficiencies between them.
