**Job Description**
We are seeking a Summer Youth Development Professional to join our team.
As a Summer Youth Development Professional, you will be responsible for promoting and stimulating program participation through the delivery of age-appropriate day-to-day activities in accordance with established program expectations.
You will assist in orientating new members to the Club's daily scheduling and program expectations (Be Safe, Be Kind, and Take Care).
You will provide guidance, role modeling, and constructive feedback to members to promote development and skill building in program area(s).
You will demonstrate leadership through consistent use of safety and licensing best practices to ensure proper conduct and safety of members.
You will continuously account for the members in your assigned group by name, face, and written attendance.
You will oversee and assist in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining program space and upkeep.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- To be 18 years of age or older and have a minimum of 600 hours working in a school-age program.
- To have documentation of at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or another field of study focused on children, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university.
**Salary and Benefits**
This non-exempt, hourly position offers a competitive salary range of $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
