The Senior Service Technician will take charge of visiting customer locations within their designated territory (end users of trucks) to conduct in-service operations and maintenance training, ensuring customers are well-equipped to operate our machinery safely and effectively.
This position also entails performing diagnostics and repairs at customer sites across the United States and occasionally internationally, addressing all products within their area of expertise to guarantee timely and proper repairs, thereby minimizing future complications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
These responsibilities are not exhaustive and additional tasks may be assigned.
- Monitor customer equipment readiness within the assigned territory to assist with diagnostics and repairs that the customer cannot address.
- Conduct product orientation sessions at customer sites for various offerings.
- On-site at customer locations, identify and resolve all equipment-related issues.
- Support dealer service technicians with troubleshooting and repairs, whether on-site, via phone, or through email.
- Follow up on repairs made to customer equipment to ensure satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns and devise optimal solutions.
- Mentor and guide other Service Technicians as necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Experience in automotive, heavy trucks, or marine repair.
- Ability to obtain a Passport.
