About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Diamond Grove Center, a 55-bed behavioral health psychiatric hospital in Louisville, Miss. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and their families during their most vulnerable times.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to patients with mental health needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in mental health care

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a hospital aide or treatment assistant desired
  • Preferred degree in a behavioral science or equivalent documented experience
  • High school diploma/equivalent with experience as a hospital aide or treatment assistant
