Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Artillery Mechanic to join our team at the Army National Guard. As an Artillery Mechanic, you will be responsible for supervising and performing maintenance on self-propelled field artillery cannon weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair diesel power plants, compression ignition engines, and engine fuel systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in carriage-mounted armament, fire control, and related systems
  • Perform unit maintenance on self-propelled field artillery weapon systems
Requirements
  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
