Job Description

Columbus Water Works seeks a skilled Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our customers. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Customer Service Representative, you will:

  • Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and resolving their concerns in a timely manner.

  • Process customer requests, including orders for new services, changes to existing accounts, and billing inquiries.

  • Manage customer complaints, escalating complex issues to senior staff as needed.

  • Familiarize yourself with our database system and utilize it to maintain accurate records and generate reports.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree preferred.

  • Three years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.

  • Bilingual Spanish is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems desired.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
