Job Summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing hands-on calibrations, overseeing calibration services, and providing technical support to internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform calibrations per cGMP procedures and document results
  • Oversee calibration services provided by vendors and contractors
  • Assist Calibration Manager in overseeing contractors and technicians
  • Provide calibration advice and training to internal customers
  • Assist in vendor selection, qualification, and service contract negotiations
  • Responsible for installation, calibration, and document control of equipment
  • Communicate regularly with laboratory and manufacturing supervisors and managers
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to improve the calibration program
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with three years of experience in calibration activities in a cGMP environment
  • Associate's degree with seven years of experience in calibration activities in a cGMP environment
  • Strong experience with calibration procedures and techniques
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively without constant supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products and CMMS database systems

  • The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds briefly
  • Climb ladders and stairs of various heights
