Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Serve as a mentor and coach to team members, enhancing their skills and performance.
  • Assign tasks effectively and prioritize daily operations.
  • Communicate essential information clearly to the team through meetings and briefings.
  • Assist in recruiting and developing talent within the store.
  • Support team members in their professional growth and address performance issues as needed.
  • Ensure all team members complete necessary training within specified timelines.
  • Manage the creation of efficient weekly schedules to optimize store operations.

Customer Experience:

  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Implement key customer engagement strategies to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and inquiries effectively.
  • Analyze customer feedback and implement improvements based on survey results.
  • Evaluate promotional programs and provide insights to enhance effectiveness.
  • Maintain a high standard of store operations and cleanliness.
  • Adjust staffing based on customer traffic patterns to meet business needs.

Financial Management:

  • Plan and organize resources to meet financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with management to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor inventory and loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets.
  • Review financial records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Adjust labor scheduling to optimize costs and efficiency.
  • Develop action plans to address any financial shortfalls.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure compliance with merchandising and pricing standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Implement merchandising initiatives and track their success.
  • Manage communication channels effectively.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including ordering and receiving.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance operational knowledge.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support store objectives.
  • Set daily operational goals for the team.
  • Review promotional materials and execute plans accordingly.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain necessary certifications and training for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations.
  • Adhere to company policies with a focus on ethical practices.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail setting.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications in alcohol service are a plus.
  • Training in beverage knowledge is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable using ladders as needed.

  • Solid sales background with a record of achievement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
