Therapist Position Summary

The Licensed mental health professional is responsible for providing individual and group therapy to patients. This is a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality treatment using evidence-based practices.
  • Plan and carry out appropriate individual, family, and group interventions relative to the needs of the patient.
  • Provide health promotion and training as requested.
  • Acquire and maintain appropriate clinical licensure, practice within scope of licensure as directed by Maryland COMAR and appropriate Board of Licensure.
  • Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
  • Licensed mental health professional. Must possess a State of Maryland license of LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C. Applicants who do not have a license may also apply pending receipt of the required license.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a teamwork environment.
  • Possess skills in crisis intervention, evidence-based treatment, and client advocacy.
