Job Title: School Based Therapist

We are seeking a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist to join our team as a School Based Therapist. As a member of our team, you will provide individualized counseling services to students in a school setting, working closely with school counselors and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized counseling services to students, addressing their unique needs and goals.
  • Establish and manage a caseload, ensuring efficient coordination and effective management of cases.
  • Offer prevention, intervention, and support services to identified students, aiming to reduce barriers to academic success.
  • Participate in client staffing sessions to develop treatment plans and objectives, adhering to Burrell guidelines.
  • Contribute to emergency services by providing swift aid during emotional crises, ensuring students receive immediate support and care.
  • Provide or coordinate thorough follow-up services for all clients under your care, ensuring continuity of care and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with school counselors to coordinate student support, including facilitating access to community resources.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and deliver interventions to students and families, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to address their specific needs.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
  • Possess (or soon to possess) licensure as a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Additional Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Preferred experience in providing family, individual, and group therapy, as well as community education.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Salary:

$58,400 - $74,500 (based on license and experience)
