Job Title:
BAS Field Engineer/Programmer

Job Summary:

The BAS Field Engineer will collaborate with clients to develop a database of control programs and systems, as well as program and install Control Systems for various buildings.

This position is classified as non-exempt, subject to overtime, and reports directly to the Field Engineering Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Controls Program and Systems Database
2. Collaborate with the Installation Team to verify and document the accurate installation of wiring and control devices
3. Conduct testing of control programs
4. Integrate systems with onboard micro-processors
5. Document compliance of systems with design specifications
6. Provide control drawings to the engineering/drafting team
7. Deliver test documentation to clients

Qualifications:
- Preferred degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Controls
- Proficient in reading construction blueprints and electrical schematics
- Required knowledge of HVAC control systems
- Required knowledge of electrical schematics
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficient in MS Office, Windows XP, file structure, basic TCP/IP network structure, and web navigation
- Familiarity with Visio is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of ALC Controls and/or other DDC Controls
- Clean driving record is essential
- Capable of lifting 30 lbs.
