Position Title: BAS Field Engineer/Programmer & Start-Up

Position Overview:
The BAS Field Engineer will engage with clients to develop control programming and systems databases, as well as program and install control systems for various buildings. This role may require overtime and reports directly to the Field Engineering Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Control Programs and Systems Databases
- Collaborate with the Installation Team to ensure accurate wiring and installation of control devices
- Conduct testing of control programs
- Integrate systems with onboard micro-processors
- Document compliance of systems with design specifications
- Provide control schematics to the engineering/drafting team
- Deliver test documentation to clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Preferred degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Controls
  • Proficient in reading construction blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with HVAC and electrical control systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, Windows XP, TCP/IP networking, and web navigation
  • Knowledge of ALC Controls and/or other DDC Controls
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Excellent communication, customer relations, and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, team-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
