Position Title: BAS Field Engineer/Programmer
Position Summary: The BAS Field Engineer is responsible for collaborating with clients to develop a comprehensive database of control programs and systems, as well as programming and installing control systems for various buildings. This role is classified as non-exempt, eligible for overtime, and reports directly to the Field Engineering Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a Controls Program and Systems Database
- Collaborating with the Installation Team to verify and document proper installation of wiring and control devices
- Conducting tests on control programs
- Integrating systems with onboard micro-processors
- Documenting compliance of systems with design specifications
- Providing control drawings to the engineering/drafting team
- Delivering test documentation to clients
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls
- Proficient in reading construction blueprints and electrical schematics
- Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems
- Familiarity with electrical schematics
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in MS Office, Windows XP, file structure, basic TCP/IP networking, and web navigation
- Knowledge of Visio is advantageous but not mandatory
- Experience with ALC Controls and/or other DDC Controls
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Compensation Range: $110,000 to $130,000 annually.
